TAMPA BAY JR WARRIORS PREPARE TO REPRESENT THE UNITED STATES FOR TCS WINTER CLASSIC IN BUFFALO
The Tampa Bay Jr Warriors 16AA completed an outstanding Fall Season and are preparing to face three Canadian Programs in the TCS Winter Classic in Buffalo from Feb 1-3. The team will have three exhibition matchups against several outstanding United States teams before heading up north for the classic. Additionally, the team will visit the campus of Niagara University and skate at Dwyer Arena for an introduction to an NCAA Division 1 Hockey Program and college visitation. Go Warriors, Go USA!!
TAMPA BAY JR WARRIORS START 2018 TOURNAMENT SEASON WITH IMPRESSIVE 4 WIN SHOWING AND TRIP TO FINALS
The Tampa Bay Jr Warriors 16AA completed an outstanding weekend of tournament hockey by winning four straight games and advancing to the Finals of the 2018 FHCI Ice Breaker Tournament. The team only allowed four goals in five games and lost in a thriller in the finals. The Jr Warriors were led by goaltender Tyler Likus who had a shutout in both games he played in net. He was awarded the tournament MVP as voted by the USA Hockey Warriors Tampa Veterans that attended tournament games throughout the weekend.
TAMPA BAY JR WARRIORS SHARE SUMMER ICE TIME AND A SPECIAL BOND WITH TAMPA VETERAN WARRIORS
The Tampa Bay Jr Warriors 16AA conducted a six week joint Warriors Ice Time Summer Series practice session at XtraICE with the Tampa USA Veteran Warriors Hockey team. This program allowed Military Veterans to connect with their peers and the Jr Warriors players for outreach and fellowship. The program was a win-win for the youth and the veterans. TAMPA BAY JR WARRIORS WIN THE 2018 16AA FHCI MEMORIAL DAY INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT
The Tampa Bay Jr Warriors dominated the field and won the 2018 FHCI Memorial Day Challenge in May 2018. The Jr Warriors defeated the Jets 4-1 in the Finals to take home the gold medal. A ceremony is planned on Saturday, August 25th at Florida Hospital Center Ice in Wesley Chapel to commemorate the victory.
